Congratulations to the 2017 AYBA 9u All-Star team for Winning the Dizzy Dean World Series. Coach Mike Acree and Assistant Coaches Mike McCavitt and Marcus Ward coached these kids to an amazing season where they were State Runner Ups, District Champions, Dizzy Dean World Series Champions and finished 1st or 2nd place in every tournament they played this Summer.
11U Raiders Win the Silver Bracket at the All-Star Showdown
Congratulations to the AYBA 11U All-Star Raiders on winning the Silver Bracket Championship of the All-Star Showdown X tournament. The Raiders survived a 7-6 last inning win in the semi-finals and then cruised to a 19-4 win in the championship game. Go AYBA!
10U Raiders Runner Ups at World Series
Congratulations to the AYBA 10U All-Star Raiders on finishing as runners-up in the Gold bracket of the All-Star World Series in Douglasville this past weekend. The Raiders fought hard but fell just short losing 4-2 in the championship game. This wrapped up an amazing All-Star season for the 10U Raiders. The Raiders played in 7 tournaments, reaching the championship game in 4 of the 7, with 2 championship wins.
9U Eagles Wins State Tournament
The 9U AYBA Eagles are winners of the 2015 Dizzy Dean State invitational Tournament in Hobgood. The team had the bats working all tournament as they scored 71 runs in 5 games and outscored their opponents by 40 runs. The Eagles advanced through the finals through the winners bracket. After losing their first shot at the championship 8-7 to the NYO Bulls, the team bounced back the next night and won 14-3. Great job Eagles!
12U team places 2nd in Districts
Congratulations to the 12u AYBA Cooperstown team for their 2nd place finish in the Dizzy Dean District Tournament. After losing their 1st game to the Sandy Springs Cyclones, the Eagles showed tremendous resolve by winning 5 straight elimination games to reach the Championship. The games were highly competitive, with the differential in the last 3 games averaging just 1.6 runs.
10U Raiders win it all at the Ocee Summer Slam
AYBA 10U All-Star Raiders win the Ocee Summer Slam! Congratulations to the red hot Raiders on another championship run. After losing their opening game of the tournament to the home team Ocee All-Stars, the Raiders dug deep and never looked back. The Raiders rattled off 4 straight wins on their way to the championship, including a 16-3 thumping in the championship game.
12U Cooperstown finish 2nd in West Georgia Classic
The AYBA 12u Cooperstown team had a great outing this past weekend playing in the West Georgia Classic All-Star Tournament. They finished 2nd overall, losing in the championship game. They finished pool play as the #1 seed, going 2-0 while outscoring their opponents 30-7. The offensive barrage continued in bracket play where they ran up 45 runs over 3 games, eventually losing in the championship game. Overall the kids scored 75 runs in 5 tournament games.
The team looks to continue their great play this weekend at the Dizzy Dean District Tournament. It is a double elimination tournament featuring 10 All-Star teams from our district. Only one more week until the Cooperstown Trip, as the boys will be heading up to New York next week.

Congratulations to the AYBA 10U All-Stars for winning the Central Park Invitational Tournament championship this past weekend! Despite having to play 5 games in less than 24 hours, the Raiders stormed through the tournament undefeated to clinch the championship!
9U Eagles win the Gold Bracket of the Central Invitational tournament
Congratulations to the 9U AYBA Eagles for winning the Gold Bracket of the
Central Invitational tournament this weekend. The boys went 4-0 and
outscored their opponents 35-10. The Eagles completed their run with a 6-3
win in the final game against the Sandy Plains Cougars. Good Job Eagles!

Congratulations to the AYBA 12UCooperstown team for winning the Cooperstown Warm Up tournament at Webb Bridge park. The boys went undefeated over the weekend, averaging 13 runs a game, and winning the Championship game 24-4. They also did well in the individual skills competitions with Christian V. beating out 11 competitors to win the Home Run Derby!

12U Eagles Win the Central Park All-Star Showdown
Congratulations to the 12u AYBA Cooperstown team as they won the rain shortened Central Park All-Star Showdown this past weekend. The boys earned a number 1 seed in the 12 team field, hghlighted by a come from behind 1 run victory over the Roswell Renegades. T

9U Alpharetta Raiders win the Hobgood Summer Showdown
The 9U Alpharetta Raiders won the Hobgood Summer Showdown held May 29-31. The Raiders started slow, losing to the home team Hobgood Heat but rallied to a big finish over the weekend. The Raiders had strong outings against the Buckhead Bombers and the Buckhead Bulldogs. Every player contributed to the team’s success. Congratulations to the Raiders for winning the first tournament they entered in the Summer 2015 season.
Congratulations to the 8U Eagles - 2014 Dizzy Dean World Series Runner Up
Congratulations to the 8U AYBA Eagles who won their way into the Championship Game of the 8U Dizzy Dean World Series in Southaven, MS. The Eagles finished as World Series Runner Ups. During pool play, the team was undefeated (6-0) and seeded #3 in the Elite 8. The team defeated the Valdosta Heat on Monday to advance to the Final Four, held on Tuesday, July 29. The Eagles also defeated an impressive Paulding County All-Stars team with exceptional defense to advance to the 2014 World Series Championship Game on Tuesday afternoon. Entering the Championship Game, the Eagles had outscored their opponents by 111 runs to 21 runs. The Eagles were defeated in the Championship Game by the Kennesaw Generals Blue to finish as World Series Runner Ups with a tournament record of 8-1.
Congratulations to the 6U All Stars - Took 2nd at the Ocee Summer Slam
Congratulations to the AYBA Eagles 6U OOP All-stars for taking second place in the 2014 Ocee Park Summer Slam. During the tournament, the Eagles belted two homeruns, smacked two ground rule doubles, collected 105 hits and scored 75 runs. During the semifinals, the Eagles staged a two out rally in the bottom of the sixth, scoring 5 consecutive runs to propel them into the championship. Congratulations on a great tournament Eagles!

Congratulations to the 9U Raiders, winners of the 2014 Dizzy Dean State Championship. The Raiders, coached by Scott Orban, went 5-0 throughout the tournament and outscored their opponents 49 – 24. They beat Eastside Thunder 9-6 in the final game.

The 7U AYBA Eagles were Gold Bracket Runner-ups at Hobgood Baseballs 8thAnnual Battle of the Bats 5/30 – 6/1. The Eagles went 3 – 1 during the tournament outscoring their opponents 40 – 24 before falling in the championship game. One of the many tournament high-lights were homeruns (over the fence) by 3 Eagles. Congrats Eagles on a good start to your Summer Season!
8U Eagles All-Stars take 2nd place in the Gold Bracket at Southeastern All Star Championship
Congratulations to The AYBA 8U Eagles All-Stars who took 2nd place in the Gold Bracket of the prestigious 16 team Southeastern All Star Championship in Douglasville, GA. This was the team’s first tournament of the season and the boys played great baseball all weekend long while finishing the tournament with a 5-1 record.
8U AYBA Raiders win the Silver Division at the "War in the Woods"
The 8U AYBA Raiders won the Silver Division at the "War in the Woods" in Canton, Ga. After dropping the first game in pool play, the Raiders won 4 straight games, including back to back to back games on Sunday night to win the Championship. The Raiders defeated the Powder Springs Royals 6-2 and only surrendered 6 runs in the final three games combined. Congratulations Raiders!

The 10U AYBA Eagles won the All-Star Warm Up championship
The 10U AYBA Eagles won the All-Star Warm Up championship hosted by Diamond Sports Nation (DSN) in Cumming, GA this past Memorial Day weekend. The Eagles went 4-0 and defeated the Mill Creek Gold in the championship game 13-2. Tawfiq "T" and Luke led the effort both at the plate and on the mound. T had 7 hits, 10 rbi and 9 runs scored including a grand slam in the semi-final. Luke had 6 hits, 8 rbi and scored 5 runs. On the pitching front, Luke threw 4 innings with 0 walks and 5 strikeouts and 0 earned runs allowed. T threw 6 innings, striking out 13 batters and only giving up 2 earned runs. All of the boys contributed at the plate and in the field. It was a team effort.
9U Eagles win the Coaches Curing Kids Cancer Tournament and 5th place in Dizzy Dean World Series
Congratulations to the 9U Eagles for winning the Coaches Curing Kids Cancer tournament at Wills Park. They defeated the NYO Tigers 20 - 11 in a slugfest.
Congratulations to the 9U Eagles for their 5th place finish at the Dizzy Dean World Series. The Eagles lost both of their games to eventual World Series runner-up and Tennessee state champions, the East Brainerd Arsenal. Great job Eagles!

6U Eagles win the Ocee Park Summer Slam
Congratulations to the AYBA Eagles 6U OOP All-Stars who ended their 2013 season in style by winning the Ocee Park Summer Slam Championship the weekend of June 28th-June 30th. The Eagles went 4-0 over the weekend, playing tremendous baseball and outscoring their opponents 75-35 enroute to the championship. The bats were hot, and the defense was outstanding!! The highlight of the tournament was in the semifinals as the Eagles hit back to back homeruns, followed later in the inning by a two run walk-off homerun. The Eagles kept the momentum and rolled to a dominating 22-7 victory in the finals.
